• There are some myths that one should visit only the Zones 1 to 5, but this is not true. All zones have good tiger population and one can see the tigers from anywhere in the park. A lot of tiger sightings were actually reported in the zones from 6 to 9 during 2012.
• You would be allocated a zone that is decided by the Forest department. And, this is done by a computerized roster system of the safari day. While jeeps are more adventurous and are the first choice, you would be able to get far and long views on the canter. Also, centers are cheaper than the jeeps. While jeeps need a much advanced booking, canter booking can be done at the last minute too.
