There are two safaris in a day and one in first half and another in second half. The best season runs from autumn to spring- as the weather is moderate at this time. It is advised to book your tickets in advance as this park remains close for about 3 months due to rains. Tiger sightings are highest at this time and day temperature can cross 45 degree Celsius. But the thrill of the safari did not allow the heat to bother you.
 
 
An ideal time to book your tickets for the Tiger Safari is from April to June & October to March. It is better to book you tickets in advance so that at the time of travel you may not get disappointment.
 
You can book to go on a safari in either a Gypsy SUV (seats 6) or a Canter (an open bus seating 20). The Gypsy is always a better option – fewer people, can navigate better and faster and you have greater control in telling the driver and guide what to do. Each vehicle comes with a driver and well trained guide that will help you to explore the safari in a right way.
 
During your safari, you can explore around 200 species of birds, 30 species of mammals including different tigers and reptiles. You can commonly found Leopard, Jungle cats, Solth bear, Sambar, wild boar etc very close to yourself. Bird watchers can click the several photographs of Crested Serpent eagle, lesser spotted eagle, Eurasian Fagle owl, collared scops owl, peacock and many more.
